Why need deposit $ 50000 for foreign investors in Bangladesh?

All foreign investors shall deposit $ 50,000 as inward remittance, office expense, remuneration & other expense. This is the rules of Board of Investment of Bangladesh (BOI), www.boi.gov.bd .

This rules shall be applied whether for 100 % direct foreign investment or Joint Venture or Branch or Liason office set up in Bangladesh.
